We successfully gained planning permission in 2014 for mixed use purposes comprising the demolition of the rear element of the existing building (façade retained) and the construction of new part 4, part 2 storey development including basement floorspace. 9 units are proposed for high end PRS, with terraces and small extension at first to fourth floor. Two retail units will be provided at ground floor level fronting Blythe Road; and a new terrace at roof level.
Our proposals look to create a finished development that was exceptional for the area. The proposals looked to develop a interior design that accentuated the ambitious architectural interventions. Materiality was a combination of limed oaks with a soft grey colour tone palette that would let natural daylight be the focus of the space. The interiors package also had to deliver a high end product whilst also being robust for the longevity of the each rental.
